FOUNDER'S PRESS
When founder Leah Johnson formed Citizens' Outcry, she made a pledge to be heard and see that justice is served. With the support of members and volunteers, Leah was able to generate the attention necessary to win over the press and became the topic of numerous articles. Noticeable progress has been made in Leah's fight against drunk driving over the years, but the battle is far from over. Citizens' Outcry intends on making headlines until victory is obtained.

Drunk Driving is Declared a National Crisis - Sandy Golden, President of Alcohol Free Kids, wins his 10 year battle in Washington D.C. accomplished December 11th 1989. Read President Bush's ceremony proclamation/speech. To our disappointment, it was all for show. The media suppressed it and it was politics as usual to protect the liquor industry.
